High Tech High School
Adaptive Green teamed up with Terminal Construction and High Tech High School to install an extensive 19,000-square-foot green roof, encased with permeable pavement, making it one of the largest green roofs implemented by the New Jersey Public School system. Designed to meet the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold standard for sustainability, the school features a hydroponic rooftop garden where students grow food for the culinary kitchen lab. The new facility showcases water-efficient landscaping and a green roof all aimed at reducing stormwater runoff. This transformation establishes the campus as a top educational and environmentally conscious landmark in Hudson County.
